Colorless, 1.05 cts emerald brilliant cut measuring 7.3x6.0x4.3 mm, hv incl, from Nova Scotia. We purchased a small parcel of analcime rough from Nova Scotia hoping to obtain at least a few small lightly included gems. So far we have been unsuccessful and have only been able to offer moderate to heavily included gems. This is one of the few we have that weigh over a carat.

Md Yellowish Brown, 1.27 cts oval cut measuring 8.6x4.8x3.3 mm, lt incl, from Brazil. Rutile, anatase, and brookite all have the same chemical composition but differ in the crystal form in which they occur. This is a larger gem from a small find in Brazil from several year ago.

Lt Yellow, 7.02 cts split sided brilliant cut measuring 14.3x7.2x4.7 mm, v lt incl, from Touissit, Morocco. Anglesite is extremely difficult to facet. It is both brittle and heat sensitive making not only the cutting process difficult but also the cleaning and dopping. We once heard of an anglesite cracking once it had been cut when the acetone that was evaporating off its surface heat shocked it.
